About
The Petroleum, Oils, Lubricants Technical Center of Expertise (POL-MCX) is a project life cycle production center with mandatory authorities and is designated as the Army proxy voting member for the Fuels Discipline Working Group (FDWG). Its matrix organization consists of project managers, engineers, architects, construction managers, and administrative staff within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District for design consultation and project execution. The POL-MCX monitors technological advancements and industry developments relative to military fuel systems and develops design guidance (UFGS)/criteria (UFC) related to military fuel systems while assisting other service branches in revising current guidance.
